Friendship Through Futbol International (FTFI) is a federally registered 501(c)3 based in the United States that works with several futbol and futsal clubs around the world in order to bring athletic opportunities to kids in need. About Estrella de Boedo:

Estrella de Boedo is a social and athletic club that serves the Boedo community of Buenos Aires through its welcoming and “open to all” cultural environment. Founded in 1996 by Diego Fenelli, Estrella de Boedo focuses on providing a cost-free outlet to the Boedo youth community through athletics and academics.

Friendship Through Futbol International’s Fundraiser

Estrella de Boedo serves a large community within the Boedo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Due to their non-charging policy and fiscal structure, much of their supply and maintenance costs are paid for through donations from player’s families.

In order to help, FTFI has organized a fundraiser, as well as a futbol gear drive for Estrella de Boedo.

So far, Friendship Through Futbol has collected and donated:

63 Shirts
42 Shorts
9 Pairs of Cleats
4 Pairs of Goalkeeping Gloves
12 Pairs of Shinguards
7 Pairs of Futsal Shoes
33 Pairs of Futbol Socks
19 Futbol Sweatshirts
5 Laptops

Most donations were made in person during FTFI’s 2022 visit to Estrella de Boedo; however, shipments of new gear are made on the 1st day of every other month.

Although the 2022 FTFI visit to Estrella de Boedo was an astounding success, FTFI continues to support Estrella de Boedo through equipment donations. Currently, FTFI is always in the process of raising money for futsal balls and other academic/athletic equipment for Estrella de Boedo’s youth futsal teams and libraries.
